Site Reliability Engineer (5 + Years) - Work From Office / Chennai

We are looking for a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering and systems operations, focused on automation, availability, and performance at scale.

Key Responsibilities

      1. Design, implement, and manage highly available cloud infrastructure and resilient production environments
      2. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
      3. Manage Kubernetes and containerized workloads across environments
      4. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
      5. Implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or CloudWatch
      6. Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
      7. Improve system reliability through automation and proactive monitoring
      8. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security
      9. Collaborate closely with Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams
      10. Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as required

     

Required Skills

  1. 5+ years of experience in an SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure role
  2. Strong hands-on proficiency in Linux systems administration
  3. Extensive, demonstrable experience with infrastructure automation
  4. Solid experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
  5. Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  6. Experience with CI/CD tools and monitoring/observability stacks
  7. Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
  8. Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills

  • Available to join immediately or within 1 week
  • Candidates must be based in Chennai (local candidates only)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. B.Tech/BE – Bachelor of Technology/Engineering, MCA , Msc – IT

  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)

  • HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
